Gabay is a FREE Creative Mentorship Program for Filipino youth that creates space for creativity, reflection, and human expression through meaningful 1-on-1 mentorship.
We believe creativity doesn't have to be explored alone.
Sometimes, all it takes is one conversation, a new perspective, or someone willing to walk alongside you.
Why Gabay Exists
Gabay didn't begin with a grand idea. It began with conversations.
Through our own creative journeys, mentoring relationships, and community workshops, we experienced how much of a difference it can make when someone creates space to listen, encourage, and share their experiences.
As we continued building Kislap, we noticed something unexpected.
The most meaningful moments didn't always happen in the biggest events or workshops. They often happened in the conversations before and after: the moments where people felt comfortable asking questions, sharing unfinished ideas, or simply talking about where they were in their creative journey.
Those moments reminded us that sometimes, what people need isn't another class or another course. Sometimes, they simply need someone willing to listen, offer perspective, and walk alongside them.
That's why we created Gabay.
A space where mentorship begins with conversation, grows through connection, and helps people explore creativity together.
Why Mentorship?
Mentorship creates something that tutorials, courses, and online resources often cannot.
A human connection.
Someone who can offer perspective, share experiences, and remind you that you're not figuring everything out alone.
In Gabay, mentors are not instructors. They are creative guides who create space for exploration, reflection, and expression.

Growth happens through conversation, trust, and shared experiences, not by being told what's right or wrong.

Every creative journey is different. There is no single path, no fixed timeline, and no universal definition of success.

Gabay is an initiative under Kislap Connect, an organized effort to help build time and space for human expression. Through mentorship, community, workshops, and creative experiences, we hope to make creativity more accessible for every Filipino.
